Incidentally, if you are interested in creating your own web graphics then you might like to know that the industry standard program for bit-mapped graphics is Adobe's Photoshop (the full version, not the scaled down 'Elements'). Photoshop is not cheap or easy to use, but it is incredibly powerful and if you're serious about creating web graphics yourself then you need a copy. Of course an alternative is to ask a web designer to create your graphics for you. Presenting Images as a Slideshow Different images can be displayed in a slideshow sequence, with animated text as well if you like: Static JPGs and Animated GIFs Web graphics created for you can be either static or animated. A word of caution about animations - generally speaking, less is more, and subtlety with animations is often a good idea. But a lot can depend on the context and ultimately it's your decision as to what you think looks right to you.
